Antagonises D2 receptors & α1 receptors
Anti-emetic
- Central D2 antagonism which ↑threshold for vomiting at CTZ
- Post-synaptic GABA antagonism

- Indifference to external environment

- Antagonises α1 receptors ∴in hypovolaemic patients can cause ↓↓BP
